Last updated: May 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JsonDevKit ("the Service"), available at jsondevkit.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JsonDevKit.
2. Description of Service
JsonDevKit provides a collection of browser-based tools for working with JSON data, including formatting, validation, conversion, diffing, and code generation. All data processing is performed entirely within your web browser. The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.
3. No Warranty — "As Is" Basis
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the tools will produce correct, complete, or reliable output in all cases. JSON processing, conversion, and code generation tools may produce incorrect, malformed, or incomplete results. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any output generated by the Service before using it in production systems, code repositories, or any other context.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JsonDevKit and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation:
- Data loss or corruption resulting from use of the tools
- Errors or inaccuracies in output produced by the tools
- Damages resulting from reliance on output without independent verification
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Any interruption or cessation of the Service
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
5. Your Data and Intellectual Property
Any JSON data, text, code, or other content you input into the Service remains your property. Any output generated by the Service from your input also belongs to you. We claim no ownership or licence over your input or output.
Since all processing occurs in your browser, we do not have access to, and do not store, your input or output data. You are responsible for saving and backing up any data or output you wish to retain.
6. Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, user interface, branding, logos, and documentation, is the proprietary property of JsonDevKit and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Engage in any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service in a manner that places an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service for other users
- Use the Service to process data in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except where permitted by law
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these acceptable use provisions.
8. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Third-Party Advertising
The Service displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Your interaction with advertisements is governed by the respective advertiser's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party advertisers.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JsonDevKit and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
